Gurney Airport in Alotau is Milne Bay Province’s gateway airport, newly upgraded under the Civil Aviation Development Investment Project phase two (CADIP II) to meet international aviation standards. JD Elevators PNG was engaged to supply and install the new lift servicing the terminal’s upper level, home to the airport’s VIP lounge.
Given the airport’s national significance and its role in improving accessibility for travellers across the province, our team delivered a reliable passenger lift solution, installed and operational ahead of the official opening on 21 August 2026.
