Jon has over 20 years’ experience within the elevator industry which commenced in 1996 when helping his dedicated father with his elevator business in the North-West region of the United Kingdom. Jonathan gained substantial technical and life skills through his father’s business where he grew from an ambitious apprentice to an experienced Elevator Engineer and eventually leading him to a career path as a professional executive.

Raymond brings decades of senior management experience across Australia, the UK, USA, Asia, and South America. Passionate about PNG’s growth, he has played a vital role in expanding JD Elevators’ presence in the region.

Known for his focus on customer service and sustainable development, Raymond leads with a commitment to long-term partnerships and local impact.

With over 30 years in vertical transportation, Conrad has worked across Australia, the UK, and South Africa. His expertise spans installation, maintenance, modernisation, and project management. Based in Port Moresby, he mentors and trains our local technicians, helping raise the standard of lift services in PNG.

Lawrence Brings 15+ years’ experience in Business Development with a strong track record across media, FMCG, the corporate sector, and government relations. At JD Elevators PNG, he leads growth strategy, builds partnerships, and drives expansion across Papua New Guinea. Outside business, Lawrence is active in basketball and netball, serving on the Netball PNG board and directing POM Elite Basketball to support youth and community development. His leadership continues to positively impact communities nationwide.

Michael Johnson is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of JD Elevators PNG. He brings 25 years of experience across business, law, politics, sport, and civil society. Michael was elected to the Australian Parliament at 31 years of age and served three terms, focusing on foreign policy, trade, and defence.

Today, Michael sits on the advisory boards of two leading Australian defence and aerospace companies and provides strategic guidance to a number of major Queensland corporate clients. With a love of sport, Michael is also a national board member of the Olympic sport of volleyball. He was previously a member of the Advisory Committee of the Queensland Rugby League (QRL).

Michael has a unique commitment to the economic prosperity of Papua New Guinea. He grew up and went to school in Wewak in the East Sepik Province, and his late father was a Member of the House of Assembly before Independence.
